Heart of a Naga is here + winners announced!

Hello, my lovelies! How are you? Happy Easter! I think...? I'm not sure who, when celebrates Easter, but just in case you do, Happy Easter with your loved ones, with your family, friends, and fur babies, of course!

I celebrate Easter next week, but since I moved out, it hasn't been a big deal. Why, you might ask? Well... because I don't cook. LOL So how can I properly have Easter if I'm too lazy to cook the traditional dishes? It also doesn't help that my partner doesn't like ANY of the traditional Easter dishes we have in Romania. *sigh*

Okay, so today is actually a BIG day. For two reasons! First, Heart of a Naga, the second book in my Monster Hearts series is here. Woohoo! It went live today, and it is, as usual, available to read in Kindle Unlimited. So, please head over to Amazon and one-click it! *wink wink*

Here's the pretty cover, the blurb, and links!

I've traveled the world, put distance between me and my past, never spent too much time in one place. When the father who abandoned me reaches out and tells me I'm the only one who can help him with a top-secret project, I don't hesitate. All I've ever wanted was for him to see me; that's why I became a scientist.

In the IMRA research labs, they study alien monsters. I've been passionate about snakes since I was a kid, so I'm used to being around the cold-blooded reptiles. But when Dad shows me his test subject, the temptation to run is overwhelming.

This isn't just an alien snake. It's a gold-skinned naga! Sixteen feet long tail, shimmering scales, deep, intelligent eyes. And venomous beyond belief! He's already killed one lab assistant, and if I don't turn out to be the snake whisperer I think I am, I'm next.

Do read the first book in the series, too!

Heart of an Orc (Monster Hearts)

Fresh out of college, with a degree in Biochemistry and wild dreams for the future, I can’t believe my luck when I get a job as a lab assistant with the mysterious organization IMRA. But then I find out IMRA stands for… umm… International Monster Research Association, and that… umm… alien monsters exist, and now I’m not even allowed to talk about my job at home!

Deep breath. I can handle this. I’m a professional, and this is a great opportunity.

Oh, what’s the job description? So glad you asked! It’s… let me check. Ah, right! Collecting test samples from a recently captured green-skinned beast that’s as tall as a mountain, a bit too growly for my taste, and could certainly break out of his cage if he wanted to.

An orc. I’m to collect various bodily fluids from an alien orc.

Deep breath. Don’t panic, Lou. Come on! You’re a professional. *sweat drop*

Two weeks ago, I announced a giveaway that was exclusive to my newsletter subscribers. Today was the last day to enter, and I've just randomly chosen the two winners. I've already emailed them, so waiting to hear back so I can send them the prizes.

The winners are: Kathrin H. and Joannie S.

Congrats, ladies!

I should probably organize more giveaways, right? I know... I agree. It's not that I don't want to. I do. But I rarely have time. My life is just... writing, more writing, editing, formatting, marketing, writing again! And I love it! But God, it's so hard to do everything. And sometimes it's hard to keep up, catch up, do more.

After I wrote Heart of a Naga and prepared it for launch, I realized that once again burnout crept in without my noticing. The consequence to that was that I had to delay the pre-order for Hell's Bells and a Bucket of Wings, which was supposed to launch this month, on April 23rd.

If you pre-ordered Hell's Bells, I'm sure you got an email from Amazon letting you know that it was delayed. Yeah, that was me... My bad. I just couldn't get it ready in time. It was super bold of me to assume that I could do two releases this month. So, Hell's Bells will be released in exactly a month from now, on May 23rd. Actually, that's just the new date because that's how far Amazon allows us to push a pre-order - only 30 days. I will do my best to release it early.

The good thing about Easter is that everyone is on vacation, things slow down, and I can focus on myself and on my writing more.

Please don't lose your faith in me. This is the second time in my 8-year writing career when I had to push a pre-order, and I *hate* it. I'm not on top of things this year... I wanted to be, but I'm not. If we could just... start having good years again. Like, the whole world! When was the last GOOD year you can remember? 2016?

Okay, enough with the pity party. LOL Let me tell you about two more things that are pretty awesome, and then I'll leave you.

One, this amazing new alien romance from Lynnea Lee!

MORGAN

When the flesh-eating space bugs invading Earth didn’t make it up my mountain, I thought it was luck. I spent a quiet winter safe in my cabin as society collapsed around me.

Turns out, a huge Xarc’n warrior has been stalking my land. Rhaz’k claims I’m “his,” but I belong to no one. His massive horns, fangs, and purple muscles turn my knees to jelly, but his cocky attitude is a hard pass.

When the deadly bugs start showing up around my home, the overprotective warrior tosses me over his shoulder and carries me to his shuttle. Who does this alien think he is? And why does he make my heart flutter?

RHAZ’K

Morgan calls me bossy, but her body scents of lust every time I’m near. I’ve been patient all season, giving her time to accept that she’s mine. But I can wait no longer. Not with hostile humans searching for her and the scourge mysteriously making it through my barricades.

The little human female is mine! She might scream at me now, but soon she’ll be screaming my name. Nothing will stop me from claiming my mate.
