OFFER THAT GUY

Who's being slept on?

Can we say MANCHILD! Class of 2021 offensive guard, Nick Lemay, out of Salisbury Comp. in Alberta has got it all; measurables, talent, and a nasty streak you like to see in your young linemen. The 6'3" 310lbs beast makes all the rest quiver when they line up against him. We've seen it live at combines...kids just don't want to take reps against him. We get it, we wouldn't want to be opposite him either. A legit D1 prospect, quiet and unassuming off the field, this young man is one to take a closer look. He'll give it all on the field, while being a great kid ta'boot.

Our take:

  • Big, burly, interior offensive lineman
  • Has an outstanding work ethic
  • Is physical in the ground game, has really worked on his pass pro and is just as dominant there now
  • Participated in 2019 CFC Prospect Game

SOUTH OF THE BORDER HEADLINES

  • CFC100 receiver Nathan Demontagnac for Clarkson Football North committed to North Dakota this week. The 6’3”, 180lbs REC will join former Football North players in Class of 2020 CFC100 QB Quincy Vaughn and class of 2018 CFC100 OG Kyle Hergel, who was the starting right guard for UND as a redshirt freshman last season. RECRUITING TIP

Most popular questions from recruits this week?

Many prospects are getting ready for their first year of high school football - and we bet you didn't bank on a global pandemic getting in the way. Preparation has been effected, but there's zero excuses for not being prepared by training camp. We list six easy tips to keep in mind while you finish of your preparation in August ... Or begin ... Never too late right?

BOTTOM LINE:

You are the first generation of high school recruits to deal with a global pandemic before your first season, but might as well wear that as your badge of honour. If you can fight your way through the pandemic and still show up to training camp looking like a Greek God ... You deserve a spot on the team.

CFC100. QB Jackson Harnett from Alberta

I have attended the CFC combine in Edmonton and also have attended the Fox 40 Prospect challenge in BC.
