OFFER THAT GUY

Our take: CFC150 Class of 2022 defensive end, Anthony Adams, is someone you definitely want to get on the phone. At 6'4" and 220 pounds, Adams has a great takeoff to go along with that great frame. He uses his hands extremely well which is no surprise with his huge wingspan. As an underager in the 2019 CFC Prospect Game that was televised on TSN, Adams has continued to develop and has one D1 offer under his belt in Central Michigan. Just as he explodes out of his stance, we expect him to explode on the scene with a terrific offseason.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER HEADLINES

  • This past weekend, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV. Among those who got a ring is Canadian tight end Antony Auclair, although he was inactive for the game. He’s been on the Bucs since 2017 when he was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Laval University. This makes it two years in a row that a former RSEQ athlete has won a Super Bowl, as Laurent Duvernay-Tardif won it last year with the Chiefs.

  • DB Ashton Miller-Melancon out of John Abbott College picked up his second Division 1 offer this week from Stetson University. The 6’2”, 195lbs defensive back now carries two FCS offers, from Stetson and Valparaiso.

RECRUITING TIP

Most popular questions from recruits this week?

While this may seem like a simple question, you would be surprised how many players, especially younger ones, have no idea how to respond to the media.

"Hey what's up bro?" may not be the best way to say hello once you've been contacted unless you have established a working relationship with that person ... CONTINUE READING
