OFFER THAT GUY
It hasn't taken long to let the cat out of the bag. After his first D1 offer from Dartmouth, CFC100 Class of 2022 wide receiver, Elic Ayomanor, from Edmonton, Alberta has since earned D1 offers from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Yale, and Princeton. This 6'3" 210lbs athlete has been turning heads down south at increasing speed. And speed is what this kid has a whole lot of. We saw him at the 2019 CFC Prospect Game, that was televised on TSN, tryouts in Alberta prove just that. As a 10th grader, we mistook him for a defensive end and then he went out and did receiver type things and looked really good doing them. He's only improved since then and his stock is just starting heat up.
Our take:
- Big, physical receiver who can go up and grab the ball at it's high point in the red zone
- Proven talent against high-level competition in the United States
- Able to move around the field so teams can't isolate him on an island out wide
- @elicayomanor
TOP PROSPECTS of the week
Katie Uttley catches up with Weyburn, Saskatchewan native CFC100 OL Cash Cuthbert, who's preparing to head east after committing to Queen's recently.
Cash and Katie discuss how COVID effected his workout routine this year, how it took a couple years to truly fall in love with the game, and play a quick game of five questions at the end ... which Cash frustrates Katie with his answers.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER HEADLINES
- Big Ten’s back (and the Mountain West...)!! That means some Canadians got underway, and some notable performances took place. CFC100 Sydney Brown had a 9 solo tackle performance for Illinois, and in the Mountain West, freshman CFC100 Isaiah Bagnah had a couple tackles for Boise State. Also, in an SEC matchup putting 2 top Canadian receivers against one another, CFC100 John Metchie had 7 catches for 151 yards and CFC100 Josh Palmer had 4 catches for 57 yards and a TD.
- Normally there’s a little talking about NFL guys to do in this newsletter, but they were all pretty quiet this week with the exception of Alex Singleton’s 5 solo tackles for the Eagles. This means more college talk. In a matchup between Oklahoma State and Iowa State, CFC100 Chuba Hubbard had 140 rushing yards and a TD. We also have to talk about Coastal Carolina, who’s quietly become the 20th-ranked team in the country. CFC60 Enock Makonzo had 6 tackles and 2 sacks for them in a win over Georgia Southern this weekend.
- In the world of offers, the hot prospect right now is undoubtedly CFC100 Kenzy Le Paul. This week he’s added 4 new FBS offers from the likes of Indiana, Toledo, Michigan State, and Tennessee. After watching his tape and seeing what he’s doing down there, more offers should be on the way.
RECRUITING TIP
Most popular questions from recruits this week?
There are two people that coaches want to talk to; you and your high school coach. They will get all the answers they need from these two sources. Your relationship with your current coach can be extremely helpful or harmful. How your relationship with your coach is now could affect how they choose to represent you later.
BOTTOM LINE:
Your history in these areas are a precursor to how you will act in college. You must understand that this is similar to asking your previous employer for a job reference.
