OFFER THAT GUY
The Class of 2022 is full of talent. CFC100 wide receiver Kenzy Paul is no joke either. Montreal native, Paul's 6'1" 190lbs frame already passes the eyeball test. Those eyeballs have offered him at the University of Tulane and most recently, Ole Miss. If we take it back, he was one of the top offensive players in Juvenile 1 in Quebec with 700 yards receiving and 300+ rushing yards. He averaged over 16 yards every time he touched the ball. Having taken his talents down south, he'll no doubt continue to get more eyeballs on him and those offers will keep coming...or least, that's what we think should happen.
Our take:
- Gamebreaker, has a feel for the game
- Big play ability
- Ability to make people miss and run away from them

TOP PROSPECTS of the week
Katie Uttley catches up with East Caledon native CFC100 WR Layomi Ojutalayo, who's ready to take U Sports by storm when he suits up for Laurier next fall.
Ojutalayo discusses his late start in football after receiving pressure to switch from volleyball, how his underdog program shocked OFSAA Tier 2, and how he plans on putting his math skills to good use in the future.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER HEADLINES
- In college football action, some Canadians had good performances this week. True freshman Ajou Ajou scored his first collegiate touchdown making people miss in a 73-7 blowout by Clemson over Georgia Tech. Tyrell Richards led Syracuse with 7 tackles despite a poor showing by their defense against Liberty. Enock Makonzo was integral in helping the Chanticleers beat a ranked team for the first time in program history, and Alonzo Addae and Akheem Mesidor made big-time plays in their win against Kansas. Be ready for some Canadian college debuts next week with the Big 10 back in action too!
- In week 6 of the NFL this far, some Canadians have made their mark, which is excitingly becoming a regularity. Alex Singleton led the eagles with 9 total tackles against the Ravens in a close loss, while CFC100 Chase Claypool once again led the Steelers in receiving with 4 catches for 74 yards, and along with that, a rushing TD. Despite not being game-related, another notable occurrence tied to Canada taking place in the NFL was the waiving of DT Eli Ankou by the Indianapolis Colts.
- In offer news, CFC100 LB Edwin Wilson Tara Kolenge picked up an interesting offer from an FCS program that recently became led by a big-time name... or should I say Prime Time? Prime Time Deion Sanders, 8x Pro Bowler who recently became the head Coach of Jackson State, extended a scholarship offer to 2022 Canadian linebacker. This offer is number 14 for him, and that number will only continue to grow.
RECRUITING TIP
Most popular questions from recruits this week?
Should I reach out to a recruiter first or should I continue to wait for them to come to me? You should push out all your information to all the U Sports schools for sure if that's kind of where your interest is. At least make a first contact, then try and establish a point of contact and just push your stuff in order to see who has any interest - then play it from there.
BOTTOM LINE:
It's never too early. Obviously if you're in grade eight please don't start sending your stuff right away, but if you're a grade nine kid and you're lighting it up at the varsity level - send your film everywhere.
