Kakauwi lang kagabi, kapagod. Tas 7am work agad sa part time.
Di ako normally nagshshare ng mga travel or tips ko. I prefer to let my life stay quiet.
But I realized that I’ve been having limiting beliefs that’s stopping me from my success.
Like inner judgements like,
“Ano kaya iisipin nila pagshinare ko.”
“Mas maganda stay quiet nalang ako.”
“Baka di naman valuable ung mga sasabihin ko.”
“Siguro isip nila ganito ako etc…”
Kaya nung nasa Japan trip kami wtih fam, instead na magenjoy ako, nacoconscious ako sa galaw ko at sasabihin ko.
And that relates to us freelancers when we are sharing our business.
We stay quiet, and no one recognizes us.
We’re too afraid of people’s judgements.
Lalo na kapag maraming tao makakakita.
So ung chika ko sa Japan trip namin, wala naman ako mashare char!
Kada bakasyon (December or April bumabalik kami)
Actually last year lang kami nakabalik sa Japan for a family holiday vacation.
And I was fortunate to have a part time job na ang client binayaran pa ang leave ko.
Which was 2 days. Kasi yung April 5 and April 10 di public holiday.
Pagbalik ko ayaw ko pa nga ishare or naguguilty pa ako na magtake ng vacation.
Parang feeling ko need ko magwork, pero I realized na lahat kami rin sa team nakapagenjoy ng vacation (out of country, out of town) without worrying what the CEO thinks.
Good culture talga
And bihira lang ako makakita ng ganun, kaya grateful rin ako.
Pero balik ako sa topic.
Recommend ko talga sa inyo makavisit kau sa Japan. Let’s call it freelancer goals.
Masarap yung pagkain. Healthy.
Malinis. Maayos yung street.
Magagalang yung tao.
Tska malamig yung hangin. Well sa December sobrang sakit ng ginaw. Sa April parang more than Baguio yung weather kasi malamig pa rin sobra.
I advise lang na magbaon kau ng internet at translation app, kasi hindi marunong lahat ng Japanese magenglish.
Like literal kahit sa mall, or sa mga sosyalin na lugar, struggle is real pa rin talga makipagcommunicate ng english.
Hindi me nahirapan kasi nagaral me ng N5 Japanese Language Level. Supposed to be magtetest ako sa Japan, kasi goal ko talga makakuha ng work dun.
Pero eh dito muna ako sa pinas char, manifest ko nalang makawork ako ng Japanese company.
Hindi ko matandaan na pinagaralan ko, pero mas maganda parin learn by doing.
Imperfect action, breeds excellent learning.
Sa Tokyo kami namasyal, dami tao nga lang. We also went outside Tokyo.
All I can say is magandang trip buckets siya.
Mas unique mga concepts nila. Marami ka makukuha na inspirations.
Like the Starbucks Hand Roastery Cafe na on the spot niroroast dun yung coffee.
Or the Nintendo Store na puro souvenirs at makakalaro ka ng games.
Marami pa iba.
Kaya maganda rin sya for us freelancers rin to get ideas.
The sushi is very fresh. All food is fresh. And may times na mura ang bilhin dun like the Daiso 100 yen items.
And Don Quiote.
If you are a big fan of anime and manga, aun alam niyo na marami dun.
Aun lang naman chika ko. All I can relate is that:
-Kahit di ka pa magaling sa isang bagay, action is key. Kasi hindi ka maprpractice or makakaexperience if more on learning ka lang.
And for me, learning a language is one of my weakness but I am improving on how to learn it easily.
-Show up. Your brand is your differentiator. Showing your face, or telling your personal story helps you stand out from the rest and be recognized.
May times struggle ko talga yung judgement ng ibang tao, pero your limiting beliefs can turn into positive things when you do the opposite negative thinking.
Yun lang naman. Saan kayo nagholyweek?
