Year in Review 2025 | Borderless News

Hello Everyone,

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve been building at Borderless Studios—and where we’re heading next.

This year, we focused on visibility and momentum.

Over the course of the year, Clock Out at 2 reached an important milestone: more than 2,700 wishlists, driven by steady development and direct engagement with players. We also had the opportunity to showcase the game at several events, including GaijinPot Expo, Game Devs of Color Expo, Scream Fest, and Tokyo Game Show—each offering valuable conversations and feedback that helped shape the project’s direction.

What this year represented for us.

Attending these events reinforced the importance of showing up—both for our audience and for ourselves as a studio. Sharing space with global developers, marginalized creators, and industry partners affirmed that there is a strong appetite for games that explore work, burnout, and self-care through a culturally grounded lens.

Looking ahead.

Next year, our focus is on progress you can feel: clearer milestones, more frequent updates, and tangible steps toward getting Clock Out at 2 into more hands. We’re excited to share more of the journey with you as it unfolds.

Thank you for being part of our community and for supporting Borderless Studios this year. Your time, attention, and encouragement genuinely matter.
