Hi All,

I hope you are all doing well. Despite how hot the weather still is in Texas, I am trying to will the cool Fall air into existence. Because Halloween is my favorite holiday, I've already enjoyed putting up a lot of decorations. I even got a new wreath, and it looks great on my purple door!

I have been simultaneously writing my serialized story: Daddy's Little Subordinate, and my next book: Daddy's Little Earth Kink, at the same time. This has been quite the balancing act, but so far so good. I realize that not all of my readers have the ability to read the Kindle Vella story if they're not in the US. Amazon will allow me to post the story elsewhere as long as it's behind a paywall. This means I can put it on a platform like Patreon. I have considered doing that, but only if there's interest. I do my best to get out at least three episodes a week, but please keep in mind I do work a day job and have three teenagers at home. It's not always possible for me to write as quickly as other authors.

Andrea removed the hair tie from her ponytail, allowing all of her loose curls to fall down on her shoulders. After removing the robe, she lowered herself into the water. Chirping insects resounded all around her as she observed the surrounding foliage. A waterfall trickled from the other side of the swimming pool, and a hot tub sat a few feet away. With arms outstretched, Andrea began to propel herself through the water. Her arms and legs worked in perfect form as she recalled her time on the swim team in high school. 

After a few laps around the pool, Andrea rolled over to float on her back. Stars filled the expansive sky above her, and she wondered if she could find Stacia. It was the larger dot just to the right of Garilia’s second moon. 

“Did I make a mistake coming here?” she asked, staring out at the wide universe. 

“To whom are you speaking?” 

Andrea’s throat tightened, her body snapping to attention. Bubbles fizzed to the surface of the water as she moved her extremities. The Ambassador had always towered over her, but being inside the pool and him standing on the edge, it felt like she was looking at a giant. He looked distinguished with his salt and pepper hair and goatee. He wasn’t wearing a shirt though, leaving very little to Andrea’s active imagination. Covered in rippling muscles and six-pack abs, he was quite a bit more fit than she anticipated. 

“Mr. Ambassador. You scared me,” she shrieked. 

“I apologize. I thought you were up in your room.” 

Flustered, Andrea ventured out of the pool and threw the robe over her body. She didn’t want him to see her like that. 

“Please,” he said, putting up his hand. “You don’t have to go.” 

“I um...I probably should,” she said, blotting her wet hair with the towel. 

The Ambassador moved closer to her. He was so close, in fact, that she could feel the warmth of his skin. The top of her head barely extended to the bottom of his chest, but she wasn’t intimidated by his size. If anything, she felt safe in the realm of his energy. His eyes burned in her direction as he laid his gentle hand on her forearm. She looked up at his gorgeous face, quite taken by the enthrallment of his touch. 

“Please stay,” he said. 

Oh, Brad! Why are you always so damn grumpy?
