Some of your favorite highlighted quotes:
(in no particular order)
Fuck me. Iâm down bad. She can say she doesnât do love, but thatâs not how love works. Love finds us. It may not be love yet, but thereâs no denying the connection between us, as much as she might like to try. My mind is reeling, but my heartâs never been more sure. When I looked into Hallieâs eyes, I didnât see locks and chains. I saw intense vulnerability. I saw a girl who wants to be loved, but is terrified to accept it. Guess that means I have my work cut out for me. But if I was a quitter, I wouldnât be here. Sophia wouldnât be who she is. Hallie Baker is mine. She just doesnât know it yet.
-Wilson Decker, The Last Thing
âIâve never been more serious about anything in my life. Youâre the only person I can think about. The only one I want. The thought of losing you to someone else is more than I can bear. I know you want someone to love, someone to be with, to find your person. Well, Iâm standing right here. Choose me.â
-Ryan Hardison, The Last Person
âYouâre safe,â I whisper. âYou can be naked with me anytime and I will never touch you in any way you donât want. If you let me, though, Iâll take care of you. Naked. Clothed. However you want me. However youâll let me, Iâll make sure youâre cared for in every way.â
-Trevor Matteny, The Perfect Love
âYou are the person I love. You are my home. Not an apartment or a town. You. Always you. Only you. My home is where your heart is.â
-Justin Ayers, The Last Love Story
I want love. The real kind where two people choose each other over and over again and never give up.
-Rae McKinley, Friends Like This

I can't thank you enough for all the love you showed my books this year. I wouldn't be able to continue to do thisâand wouldn't continue to grow without you. Thank you for helping me hit new heights, reach milestones I didn't even have on my list for the year, and for loving my book babies as much as I do. I'm endlessly grateful and I'm so excited for what's to come next year.
If you want to know a few of my favorite things from this year, keep reading. Thanks for being here. You are amazing. đ

A few of my favorite things...
(reader edition)
Favorite standalone of the year:
Himbo Hitman by Saxon James. Perry and St. Clair were freaking hilarious, and I loved every second of the shenanigans in this book. Someone compared Perry to Kronk from the Emperor's New Groove, and that comparison is jusssst right.
Favorite series I read this year:
Playing for Keeps by Becka Mack. I just read this a few weeks ago, and it hit me so deep, nothing will compare for a while. The emotion, the humor, and the found family was phenomenal. If you haven't read it yet, I must insist you do it asap!
Favorite audio:
Pucking Strong by Emily Rath. I loved EVERYTHING about Teddy & Henrik, but I especially loved hearing how well they were brought to life in audio. It was an immediate re-listen for me.
Favorite comfort reads:
The Boston Revs series by Jenni Bara. She's an author friend, but I hadn't had the chance to read them all. Between ebook and audio I binged the series, then started again when I needed something fun and easy to re-listen to. I love them!
Most anticipated read of 2026:
Charming Puckboy. The last book in the Puckboys series by Eden Finley & Saxon James. If you know me, you know how much I love that series. I'll be sad to see it end, but I'm excited for the final book!
