Dear ,
A few more days and it's Christmas! Are you ready to meet the little babe in the manger?
What have you been doing lately? Shopping, mall strolling, wrapping gifts or hustling for the year end’s report and activities?
We are catching our breath every December to finish all our targets and accomplish what needs to be done at work before the holidays yet at the same time its the season of joy and laughter.
But do these activities give you peace or are you chasing the papers for nothing?
Yesterday was the 4th Sunday of advent. Let us remind ourselves that Christmas is the season where we meet the Little Babe in the manger, the true source of Hope, Joy and Peace.
Only by having a deeper relationship with Jesus in receiving the Eucharist, and practicing virtues through the grace of God, can we achieve the silence and the tranquility in our soul.
I, myself, have been of spiritual oppression for so many years, voices screaming and shouting at me disturb my mind.
But Jesus took the fear and the despair every time I heard the spiritual vexations and experienced afflictions from the spiritual torment.
Jesus gave me peace.
The moment I realized that I did not need to prove myself from the spirits that I am right in a certain matter or not, I achieve true peace.
Jesus, became the Incarnate word to assume our humanity so that we can share His Divinity.
This truth gives us confidence and inner peace for it lead us to the reality that through the Incarnate word we become children of God.
Despite the hectic schedule of December, let us not forget the reason why we have Christmas. It is Him, Jesus, the True Giver of Peace, the reason why Christmas Joy is possible.
See you in the next email!
Kind Regards,
Daisy
