I just wanted to share with you my Joy!
It's pretty cool that yesterday was 12-12-21!
It was Gaudete Sunday which means "Rejoice"
It was the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe
And it was my birthday too :)
I'm just so happy that in the Jesus Centered Life Conference 2021 whose theme is #SharetheJoy, the Beyond Kilig Team was an organizing partner in the panel discussion for Young Professionals, entitled "Asan si Joy? Seeking, Finding and Sharing Joy." It happened on December 11.
Carla and I were the hosts and it was our first time to be hosts of an event :P
We were both so nervous but it was a fun experience! What placed us at ease was that the speakers were all so interesting that we just wanted to learn more and ask away. There was a lot to comment about and react to!
We got a variety of insights from speakers who have their own advocacies and with their talents, serve the church in different ways. Their stories are relatable and I'm sure you will greatly benefit from it.

Since it was just Gaudete Sunday, I just want to remind you that Christ with us ("Emmanuel") is the great source of joy. He is in the Eucharist and He dwells within and among us -- Siya yung Joy na hinahanap natin because He is Love.
Where love is, there is joy :)
Another source of joy is the secure love and care of a mother. Not just that of any mother, but in another level, it's that of the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Queen of the Angels, and the list goes on with her titles in the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
On her fourth apparition on December 12, she said to Juan Diego:
“Hear me and understand well, my son the least, that nothing should frighten or grieve you. Let not your heart be disturbed. Do not fear that sickness, nor any other sickness or anguish. Am I not here, who is your Mother? Are you not under my protection? Am I not your health? Are you not happily within my fold? What else do you wish? Do not grieve nor be disturbed by anything.”
With these lines, how can you go wrong and worry about a dozen things if she has your back?
Surely she also has all ears on you for what you would like to tell her, just as how she has all eyes on you to ensure your protection and joy.
As we come closer to Christmas, I pray that you have joy and peace despite the busy season to pause and think about the many sources of joy.
