There is story!
The last two weeks have been me pounding away on my keyboard. Luckily I have a good one or it might have died. In two weeks I have written over 50,000 words! Yes you read that right. Which means books are almost done. Which means there will be new books in your future and I can't wait!
But until then I still need to get them to my betas, then an editior, then this time I cam going to Kickstart this so I can hopefully get some really nice upgrades on the books and the audio for this trilogy. Mostly I'm hoping everyone loves it. Then as soon as it is done I'll finish the epic fantasy, so if you are REALLY lucky, you might, might, maybe, possibly, get 4 books all in time for Christmas. I am trying.
But here is the Bastard cover, but don't hold that against him, Silas is actually super nice.
Other than that I have one more convention this year and then I'll be heads down writing and trying to FINISH things. I'm starting to panic to be honest, so many books I need to write.

Book Recommendations!
Atlantis has always fascinated me, and this is a new fantasy involving this land. When Charra claims her independence and destroying the plans her parents hd for her, the mystery that threatens her home, will also pull her heart in two. Check out Gods of Atlantis: Boiling Point. And really look at this cover, I first thought Egyptian when I looked at it, but it isn't, it is much more than that.

Weekly Micro Story
Impossible
The portal opened onto a wasteland. There was nothing but dirt and rocks as far as the scanners could see.
"Send out the remote crawler," Colonel March ordered as the data streamed in from the small scanners. The tech pushed the right buttons, then moved the joystick and the eight legged crawler passed into the portal, wavering a bit.
"Reading indicate higher gravity, but not enough to cause issues," Sargeant Jones said reading the data as it came in. The tech, airman Hanover kept moving the crawler further in. The landscape unfurled through the camera, slightly different than what human eyes saw. Movement caused the cameras to pivot and zoom in.
"Sir, we have movement to the left," Jones said, refining the picture.
"Head toward the movement. We had indications there were some sort of structure there," the colonel ordered.
The crawler started to turn, lifting legs up over the uneven ground as it headed that way.
"There, the movement," Jones said and popped up the view on the main screen for everyone to see. The control room, full of scientists, military, and government officials, all fell silent as they looked at what was coming in on the camera.
In full color a giant creature made only of bones and glowing flames stalked toward the crawler. Each foot fall raised a puff of dust as it got closer. It didn't seem to notice the mechanical device that had frozen as Hanover had quit moving the joy stick. They all sat in breathless silence as a creature that could only be described as a bone dragon walked by, the camera following it.
A long slow exhale from everyone in the room as they started to breathe again, the instinctual terror fading.
Colonel March cleared his throat. "Everyone, I know we had been excited about this possibility, and we have proved the technology works. But at this time I would like to recall all our equipment and seal this portal as well as put a classification on it that will ensure we never open it again."
Not one person in the room disagreed as the still image of something impossible hung large on the screen.
