Agendas is here!
Mar 08, 2026 4:21 pm
I'm so excited, I just can't hide it.
If you are old like me, you were singing that in your head. But it is so true. Not only does Agendas launch on Amazon TOMORROW, but I am finishing editing Hunters for the April launch. However, if you want to read Agendas now, it is available on my website until tomorrow morning. Grab it here until the morning of March 9th. Oh I love this cover. Just saying.
Don't forget that all my audio books are available on my website or from Soundbooth Audio! I'm so excited that they are also hosting my stories. Spread the word that Soundbooth is SO much better for authors than Audible.
If you live in Atlanta, pull up your calendar, mark March 28th as the day to come see me and SO MANY other authors. Come see all of us at the Book Flood at Viking Alchemist Meadery!

Weekly Micro Story
Scout Trip
"Davy? Do you have your extra oxygen pack?" mom's voice called from down the hall.
"Yes, Mom," I said trying to not let my exasperation into my tone. Doing that might cost me my trip.
"And do you have your emergency beacon?"
"Yes," I called back the tone slipping in.
"Keep up that tone and the only thing you'll be doing for the next week is cleaning out cosmic dust from every corner of the station ring."
I swallowed. That was never fun, because the station security would get in on it and 'helpfully' point out areas you missed. Meaning you never finished before your week was up.
"Yes, Mom."
"Finish packing, the shuttle will be here in ten minutes. And don't expect me to bring you anything you forget. I'm not setting foot outside this city for a problem you created." Her voice was sharp and tired and I cringed. It had been a hard year, a hard 430 days. I'd be happier when the year was over. Maybe she wouldn't be crying as much.
I went over my list again and I had everything. The weight limits were pretty strict, but I still had 15 kilograms I could use. After double checking that I had everything on the list, I grinned and grabbed my dad's old Federation Scout Supply kit, or as he told me once the Fuck Safety Survive kit. I tucked it in tight, Mom didn't know I had it. But it was fully stocked just like dad told me, and if a camping trip to a new planet wasn't the best place to bring it, what was?
"Davy, shuttle is here!"
"Coming, Mom," I called, grabbing my helmet, my kit, and I raced down the hall. Visiting Sarlacc was going to be the most memorable trip ever.

Oh, that poor kids, the FSS kit might be the only thing between them and a complete wipeout.
