Now to ConPossible!

Mysticon was amazing. I got to meet great people, hopefully make some new fans, and see the snow! Look I live in Georgia, I'd love more snow. I also have a four-wheel drive truck, so.... .just saying. Laughs, but all in all I can't wait to go next year! So if you are near Roanoke, VA and think you'd like to try a con, definitely put it on your check out soon list.

Speaking of Cons, I'm now headed to Conpossible, in Duluth Georgia. Terminus Manor has descended on Georgia, and the Fae are here to play. If you love cozy cottage core, want to have tea with some amazing people (me!) you need to come check out this con, tickets are still available at the door and they are having a ball and music hall revue, even a Magic the Gathering tournament. I'm so excited and honored to be a Special Author Guest and can't wait to see everyone. I'll be there all weekend, so if you are local to Atlanta think about this con next year!

Now for the big news. My pretty here, this gorgeous cover? Welllllll - if you want it, you can get it. Relics is available on my website until February 15th. Then it will move over to Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. The price on Amazon will be $5.99, but you can get it direct from me for $5.00! I hope you love it. I should be releasing Agendas in March, then the last one in April. And I'm still writing, so we'll se what else is coming out. So Happy early Valentines Day! I loves you all!

I have so much to do that I think next week Monday is going to be a day of admin work and see if I can get things done and taken care of!

Book Recommendations!

When stalkers are following you it is never good, but when they pull you into a parallel Earth and want you to compete in their version of the hunger Games, your day just got worse. Check out The Nexus Game: Omnibus by Shami Stovall, available for a limited time for only $0.99!!! What a great way to get the first two books in this series.

Starmares

Seleeal curled up tight under the roots of the old banyock tree, draping her skirt around knobby knees, and wrapping a scarf around her head and face. Only her eyes peered out, making her all but invisible in the deep shadows of the looming forest.

Her mother was going to beat her hide off if she found out that Seleeal had snuck off, but it would be worth it if she saw the Starmares. Seleeal swallowed hard and pushed back a little bit further under the roots at the howl of a cave wolf in the distance. If she got eaten, her mom wouldn't be able to get mad at her. There was a benefit there, but she wasn't sure getting eaten was the way she wanted to go. She distracted herself for a while deciding the way she wanted to die versus the worst way, finally deciding that asleep and never waking up was the best, but drowning was the worst. The idea of not being able to breathe as it got darker and darker terrified her.

Fighting back a yawn, waking for morning chores would be hard. But if she could see them, it would all be worth it. Her grandmother talked about seeing them once, a long time ago when she was a child, their manes and tails flowing behind them, leaving a trail of stars that slowly faded away. Her eyes still sparkled when she talked about their coats in all the colors of the sky and hooves that rang like silver bells. Seleeal knew she had to see them too. While she would never own a horse, just getting to see them would be enough.

Seleeal fought to keep her eyes open, through yawns she tried to muffle. The Guiding Star had just risen in the sky and that was when they were supposed to come. A sound like metal hitting tile rang out, chasing away every touch of tiredness from her body and she leaned forward looking at the hills that rolled to the sea. Lights appeared and then there they were, running over the hills to the sea.

Grandmother had been right. Their coats were like the sky at sunset, their manes and tails trailed stars as their hooves hit the ground, but didn't seem to touch. Seleeal fell in love at that moment, and her heart went with them as they raced down the coast to where the raging falls met the ocean.

The memory of the racing across the hills was worth every minute of the extra chores her mother made her do for two moons. And Seleeal knew someday, she would ride one.

I thought hard about making it horror and making them like kelpies, but I decided I wanted some joy in our lives, and it was the better option.
