Kickstarter is here!

I am so very nervous.
Setting up for a Kickstarter is a lot more overhead than I expected. Mostly in creating graphics. But that being said I have amazing friends (Katie Cross & Cindy Gunderson) who helped me with this. Shipping internationally is expensive and I'm trying to get it down but still just ugh. But I think I have it all done finally.
I'm sure you're wondering why Kickstarter. A few reasons. I'd like to be able to make nicer versions of the books, printed edges, fancy layouts, things to make the books sparkle as much as the stories. There is also that Kickstarter will pay me in 30 days, as opposed to 60-90 days from Amazon. And I would like to start doing some special editions, hence, Kickstarter. So here it is the Kickstarter for the Noble's Luck Trilogy! It will go live on Wednesday, Nov 6th. I really hope we can get all the awesome things I have planned for this book.
The other news is Vengeance in audio is completed! You can get it here from me and I'll be working on pushing everything up to distributors over the next week.
Don't forget to share my newsletter with other people. Use this link and people will get a free short story!

This is obviously audio week. If you want to get a free review copy of Blood and Bonds in audio, click here. In Blood and Bonds, we join Alexander at the beginning of his journey to becoming the great reformer and legendary hunter of the Crimson Templars. If you enjoy fantasy, slow-burn romance, shifters, new takes on myths, and interconnected series, this is for you. Supernatural creatures, secret organizations, magic, and missions, the MoonWatch Universe’s web of stories and novels have it all.

Ashes
Death gathered around me like a swirl of dust and ashes, thicker and thicker with every heartbeat.
"Are you sure," her voice whispered in my ear, barely audible over the swirling winds as she gathered around me.
I knew I should be pity or sadness or even a sense of self-righteousness that I was to be the executioner. Instead there was nothing. My heart had become as dead as my goddess.
"Yes," I said, looking down at the planet. It was a planet, not a valley, a city, a country, or even an army. When I was done, not even bacteria would remain behind me. Not even a virus could withstand what I was about to do. But that was the point, wasn't it?
The lands below me were ravaged by a virus that twisted and warped everything with blood and a heartbeat. Every cure, every attempt to stop it had either failed or made it worse. Which meant, even though there were still people alive, creatures found no where else in the universe, and all of them were corrupted. So the planet would need to die, every living thing on the planet.
Death merged with me as I floated over the planet, and I let her go. She swooped down like the immortal power and creature she was. Life ended wherever she touched mile by mile she covered the planet taking what had once lived and taking the power for herself. By the time she returned, hours later glutted with power, I was ready to leave the lifeless husk.
She wrapped around me like a lover, a blanket, a wall of fog. "It is done," she whispered sounding sated and sad at the same time.
"I know," I said and left the planet and its ashes. Controlling death like this weighed on me, but I did what no one else would do.

Ouch. Would that power make you even and cruel or kind and compassionate?
