How to do it all?
I learned some interesting things at the conference and once again I have a To Do List that is insane. But I'm also working on it. I just finished publishing the last of the Kaylid Chronicles in German, so I'll keep working on getting those done in other languages. I'm thinking I'll do Dutch next. But I also am looking at what I need to finish.
Cori at Large: Relics is with the editor right now and I'm hoping to have new books to publish by January. Or at least I'm working on that. I should have a complete trilogy coming out, then I'll get back to work on some new worlds. I've been looking at what I'm writing and I want to get better, so we will see how that works.
Otherwise I have Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching and I hope that I can get everything done so I can enjoy some days off. Fingers don't fail me now!

Weekly Micro Story
Changes are coming
She Who Greets the Moon stood and looked at the proof of their victory over the humans so many generations ago. When they killed all of them who dared encroach on their land. The bones hung there as reminds to both the cubs and the occasional human that this was their land and it had no need to be civilized.
A single road when through their land, and for the most part the four footed left alone those that used the road to travel. For the most part. And that was the problem.
A cry of hunger, rage, and cold from a human child rang out, breaking the normal silence of the forest. Her people did not make such noises, not even the cubs. All the pack would tell her to have a snack and move on. But she was tired of death and the old voices were talking to her, telling her the world was changing.
With a sigh Greets the Moon went back to what was left of the travelers: blood, scraps, and a child. Her nose let her know a bear had done this, from the scent it was Dark Night Rage. All the forest stayed away from his as his actions were unpredictable to all. This time his actions left dead humans, and one small live one.
The child sat there, blood from a head wound on its face, looking around with blue eyes that Greets the Moon rare saw on a creature. It would take one bite to end this life. Yet the moon, the forest, the old voices said no. Ignoring them often meant bad things followed.
~What is your name, little one?~ Greets asked.
The child looked up at her, eyes wide. "Salir."

I don't know where I'm going with these stories, but I'm kind of thinking they might be in the same world as the Princess and the Dragon stories. Hmm.
