Dear ,
The snow is gently falling outside my window as I type this to you and it is slowly turning our garden into a winter wonderland, it is so lovely to look out at.
I love the snow, in particular I love the silence that accompanies it, it seems like the whole world pauses to watch it fall. My other favourite thing about snow is playing 'the disappearing snowball game' with my silly spaniels. The result is always humans in stitches of laughter and two very soggy spaniels. Hopefully we can have a couple of rounds of that after I finish typing this!
I just wanted to let you all know that I have just set this week's 'Album of the week' post live on the blog. This week I've chosen Craig Armstrong's (he of Love Actually and Romeo + Juliet fame) album Sun on You. Written for piano and chamber strings with soft electronic layers the whole album has a beautifully soothing feel. It is full of space and gently evolving sounds and melodies. So it will come as no surprise that this is one of my go to albums whenever I want to dial down the stress levels.
Hope you enjoy listening to it and that is works it's soothing magic on you too.
Have a great week!
Best wishes,
Samantha and Graham
