As I’m writing to you, I’m covered in sweat and cat hair. And cats. Summer isn’t even here, and I’m already dying under my hot bags of fur.
I’m still working on Every Day Without You and am almost done. It wasn’t that much work and shouldn’t have taken this long, but it’s difficult to be creative when people are calling you a pedophile. If I seem bitter, it’s because I am. I know homophobes have accused gay people of this for decades, but I wasn’t prepared to be the target for this level of vitriol. I thought we had grown as a culture and moved beyond such demonizing. Nope.
If you get the chance, I encourage you to reach out to a trans person you know—maybe someone you just know on social media—and tell them you have their back. It’s lonely right now. If you can, go see a drag show. As you probably already know, drag queens are being attacked these days, too. There’s a lot of hate going around. Let’s get some love going around, too.
As we say goodbye to March, I’ve decided to put Carillon’s Curse on sale for 99 cents on Amazon. The sale runs from today until April 3. It’s dark and steamy with a happy ending. I sold it as a stand alone, but loved the characters so much I had to write another one. Each of them have HEAs. As always, make sure you read the warnings.
I don’t know if this will happen to you, but when I just opened the sales page to cut and paste the link, Amazon had the sale price hidden in blue text beneath the KU write up. If you didn’t know to look for the ebook price, you would think you either had to read the book on KU or buy the print copy. Just be aware. They do annoying things like this.
I hope you’re having a good March! It’s a nice time of year where I live—unless you have four hot cats sleeping on you. I can just barely move my fingers.
Always love,
Sionnach
