Issue: April 2025
Hello and come celebrate all things books with me. What are you reading? Tell me all about it. Really, reply to this email, I want all the details.
April 22 is International Mother Earth Day (aka Earth Day in the US). Many cities are having celebrations and helping us learn how to take better care of the planet. If you search your local community websites, you should find some planned activities. In the meantime, I'm going to be repotting some of my plants and adding some new ones. I have a Weeping Bottle Brush tree that all the birds and bees love. Now to figure out if I can create some seedlings from it.
Goodreads has put together "Earth Day Book Lists" with fiction and nonfiction for all ages. I think Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" will always be my favorite, but "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens is masterfully written. Which ones do you like?
Check out these hot romances!
Books by Michelle Moncrieff
Author's Life
I'm re-reading Jane Austen's "Persuasion" and "Pride & Prejudice" for the next anthology, "Texting Ms. Austen". I have a fun and surprising twist to the stories that I can't wait for you to read, so be sure to pre-order. I might share a snippet next month with you.
I'm so sorry the Question of the Month poll didn't work last month. I'm going to put it on hold until I get it figured out, but please email me with any thoughts or questions.
Stay sassy and keep losing yourself in books. Be sure to visit my page or my Facebook group, Bunburying with Moncrieff, and tell me about those great reads.
