Happy New Year!

2023 was an interesting year with many author challenges. Some were expected, some not so much. Here's hoping I can apply what I've learned to make the most of 2024.

With the new year I have several goals in mind for my authoring. Here are a few highlights:

Finish the Hollowshine Series

Hollowshine is my urban fantasy series about the magical world coming to ours to save it from the dark forces that destroyed their home, but they're one step behind. Book 1 Finding Refuge and Book 2 Secrets and Lies are available now. Last year I was hoping to publish Book 3 Defying Fate, but there were some complications. Even though it wasn't published, I have been working on it. My goal is to finalize it this year (all it needs is beta readers) and start Book 4, maybe even finish it. This series is so close to being done and once it is I can move on to other big projects.

Finish Mystery Projects

I have this habit of letting my writing get away from me and I end up with several stories in varying stages of development. There are a few that are closer to completion than others, so I plan to finish them so my plate isn't overflowing. These will remain a mystery since I don't know if/when I'll publish them.

There are other goals, but these two are the most pressing ones in my mind. I'll keep you updated as the year goes on.
