I've had a lot of people ask me what's the story with Sarah.

for those who don't know or need a refresher, Sarah was Alyssa's bestie from Merged With him. She died at the hands of Josh in Entwined With Him when she betrayed the family and went after Ella.

Dear Alyssa,

If you’re reading these, then either I’ve been caught, and you no longer want anything to do with me or I’m dead.

Both viable options though I would prefer not to be dead. I knew this was a likely outcome for my actions.

I want to start by firstly apologising, I’m not going to try and make up excuses for what I’ve done to you and your family. I won’t plead for forgiveness because I know if I did, you would give it.

That’s the kind of person you are. Kindness seeps from your pores. It’s also why you didn’t see this coming. Me coming.

I want to go back to the beginning, to where it all began. Remember the night you met Zac? Remember the guy I set you up with? Ethan.

Well this story begins with Ethan and what happened after that night. The things I never told you. You see you were so happy with Zac, and then there was the stalker situation and you were scared again. I couldn’t be the one to pile more crap onto your plate.

So I took the burden of dealing with Ethan. In hindsight I probably just should have come clean. I should have just told you what he was making me do.

I told you I met him at a wedding.

I lied.

I’ve known Ethan since I was in primary school. Our mothers were old friends. I had some kind of displaced loyalty to him, and by the time I found out what kind of person he was it was too late.

I was in too deep.

I’ve been drowning for the past four years without a way to get out. Maybe now that you’re reading these letters I’ve found a way.

Maybe now, I have peace. Although I know my peace comes at a cost to you, a cost I never wanted you to bear.
