The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

imageHappy holidays, dear Reader!

As the Christmas carol says, it's the most wonderful time of the year for most people. Yes, there are many who suffer greatly during this season, and we should do all we can and know how to do to help make their holidays less oppressive. But for those of us who enjoy the opportunities to reconnect with those we love, to share affection, laughter, good food, and sometimes gifts, the end-of-year holiday season is a feast of joy for the senses.

Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. In my household growing up, there wasn't a lot of money for frippery like gifts. Maybe we got a new dress to wear to church on Christmas morning. Once, someone gave me a doll that I never played with, which was finally broken by some other child who came over and played with it. I'm sure you've figured out that I couldn't have cared less. I had my cats, and they loved me like I loved them. Dolls were a very poor and insufficient substitute! LOL!

On to the present day. I've got some opportunities for you to enjoy your holidays with more books. Some of you already know about Wanted: Mistletoe, the steamy Christmas anthology currently available for $3.99. Just click on the link in the title and you'll find all the places where you can get your copy. Remember to leave a review for my story, A Very Pregnant Christmas, as well as any others that you read.

Next, I've entered my first book in the Twelfth Day of Christmas series, the Emma-award-winning novella His Christmas Love, in a month-long giveaway. For more details and to enter for a chance to win a free copy, click here: https://bookandwineloversmarketing.godaddysites.com/giveaways.

For a different kind of Christmas treat, you may also wish to try Christmas Candy by Darie McCoy. If you enjoyed her debut novel, For Real, you'll love this newest addition to her bookshelf. Some characters from that novel appear in this one as well. Just click on the title to see where you can find your copy. I'm loving this cover, aren't you?

Finally, The Surrogate, the third book in my Twelfth Day of Christmas series is set to come out on January 5, 2023. More information on that will be in my next newsletter, which will land in your inbox next week. Watch out for it. In the meantime, enjoy these teasers.

PLEASE NOTE: The cover is NOT final. Please do NOT share it anywhere.

Blair Whittaker agreed to be her twin sister's surrogate before she fell in love. Then it was too late to back out. What's a girl to do but hide her feelings under layers of cool detachment? Except, when her sister is killed in a fire, the man Blair loves is no longer off limits, is he? Tell that to her guilty heart.

Professor Solomon Steele has lost the love of his life, but he has their daughter Lili to raise. And the woman who gave them their precious gift is becoming more than just their surrogate. Sol must resist Blair Whittaker's unwitting charms. He can't betray his lost love with her twin. And anyway, it's only been eighteen months...too soon to fall in love again, isn't it? Tell that to his aching heart.

Well, I need to get back to work, y'all. The Surrogate must be uploaded on Amazon by December 31, so I need to finish up the editing. And I have cakes to bake and send to friends and family, cards to mail out, gifts to make for close family, and edits to review on Back At Last, which I just got back from my editor.

Until next time, then.

À bientôt,

K. T.
