Happy October, Honeys!

Can you believe it's almost Halloween? And that we're that much closer to the holiday madness to follow? How time flies, and I don't know about you, but I'm not ready. This month, we celebrate, among other things, Breast Cancer Awareness (get those tatas checked, ladies!), LGBTQ+ History Month, and National Book Month. And it's also "peeper season" for all those of us who love to"peerp" at all the gorgeous autumn foliage!

As I write this, I'm sitting in my younger daughter's living room. Tomorrow morning, she'll undergo a surgical procedure to help her better manage her weight goals. Her dad and I have come down to be with her, and I'll stay for a few weeks to help her adjust to new dining habits and cook dishes with her that she'll enjoy, once she's back up to eating solid foods again. Thank you for all your prayers and positive thoughts.

I'd also like to announce the launch of my new website, Double the Romance, which hosts both my K. T. Bond and my A. J. Buchanan content. I'd love it if you'd go visit and tell me what you think of it so far. Some things need adjusting, and as I learn how to fix them, I will be the site will be more polished. There's also a lot I plan to add to it, including a teaser page for each pen name with snippets of different stories, including some from my Works in Progress.

Click on this link to get there: DOUBLETHEROMANCE.

Now to the news about my anthology stories. My KT Bond title is Turn Back Time, and here's a snippet of the blurb:

Alain DuPont has left Winsome Bernard twice before. Why should she give him the time of day again?

Alain DuPont understands the power of a charm offensive, and he will use every one of those tactics to regain his woman’s love.

To give you a sense of my story, think Before We Were Strangers by Renée Carlino, a second-chance romance between a somewhat younger couple whose timing and missed opportunities also span a decade. Or Kennedy Ryan's This Could Be Us, about a woman who "has lost it all before and refuses to repeat her mistakes. Can she trust him? Can she trust herself?

As for the AJ Buchanan story, there are a few tidbits. The main characters are Levar Hunter (whom you'll meet in the third No Strings Attached series story Playing It By Ear, publishing date still unknown, cover still in the works) and Andrew Chang-Li/Lee (still deciding on the spelling). Both men are performers, though it's a part-time avocation for Levar, whose main source of income is his job teaching music at a private academy. It's Andrew's entire career ... he's a concert pianist. Oh, and Andrew is Chinese-Jamaican to Levar's African American.

I'd better hop into bed, now. I need to be up at zero dark thirty to get my daughter to the hospital, and I'm feeling a little woozy after more than eight hours on the road. I hope you'll check out my new website and have a look at this month's book recs.

I'll send my November newsletter on Halloween so I can celebrate my birthday with you all. Remember to click on the blue links, and I'll see you in 30 days, Honeys!

À bientôt,

KT
