The Weight of Our Fate
Some wounds do not heal. They change us to what we are meant to be.

From the Author’s Desk
Tabir has been heavy on my mind lately. The more distance I get from The Soul of a Dragon, the more clearly I can see how deeply those events changed him.
Some characters reveal themselves immediately. Others unfold slowly over time. Tabir has become one of those characters for me, even though he was the first Dorwine character I wrote. I’m beginning to understand the burden he carries—and what Rathune may truly be asking of him. This is going to be so fun to explore in Ember's Wedding.

From the Chronicle
The Indie Fantasy Addicts Summer Reading Challenge kicks off in June, and I’m planning to participate this year. I’m hoping to lead a team, run a few games, and cause just enough chaos to make things memorable.
I’ve also picked up another live event: Summer Palooza in Flemingsburg, Kentucky on June 20th. More details are coming soon, but I’m excited to spend more time meeting readers face-to-face this summer.

Traveler’s Recommendation
This month’s featured read is Saved by Fae by Layla Wood.
Lottie bought a house in the woods, not knowing danger lurked around the corner. After a mysterious attack, she’s rescued by Errol, a Seelie Fae who quickly realizes something far darker is at work.
If you enjoy fae stories, hidden dangers, and fantasy romance, this one may be worth a look.
