Just four days left! The Soul of a Dragon will, not so coincidentally, be released on my birthday. September 6th. I'm very excited, and very nervous about this release. It's weird to release on Saturday, but let's face it; I do lots of weird stuff. This one was hard to write. At times I felt Anuka's pain so acutely it was difficult to finish. Now that it's done, I'm so proud of this book.

On a personal note

It's my birthday! Almost. This year I'm hosting a four-hour D&D miniature painting party. These things are so much fun. I'm terrible at painting, but love having my best friends with me so they can make fun of my painting.

I'm podcasting! Not for writing, unfortunately. Our weekly AD&D 2nd edition group is rolling. Once we have a cache of episodes in our quiver we will begin firing dad-joke laced arrows into the crowd. We are bound to hit someone. We don't have a name, but we are thinking of No Dungeon for Old Men. Rust Monsters Ball? Midlife Dices? Ok. We don't know yet. We are some older gentlemen teaching our teenaged sons how we did D&D in the olden days.
