I'm a little nervous. This is my first trilogy, and I really hope it lands well. I love the third book. As an author, I try to write emotional scenes that impact my characters and audience. I feel like I've done that.

This process is kind of weird. For those who have been asking when book 3 is going to be finished, this is a beginning. For me, it's the end of a long process. In fact, I'm well into book 4. It already has a title (no, I can't share it. spoilers). I have never had as much energy writing a project before.

I'm keeping with the original plan of six books for the Dorwine series, with a transition book in the middle. That is book 4. It's a hinge book that pivots our characters to a different place. The second trilogy in the Dorwine series will have a different tone.
