Hey there!

You think you are prepared for everything, but life has a way of telling you that isn't true! Last Sunday (just before I was going to have an awesome day off from work for author things), we discovered a pocket of water in our wall beneath the paint.

Long story short, our roof was leaking! Thus, author life went on the back burner for a few days while we sorted out repair and restoration work. (See pic below of the sci-fi looking tent in our bedroom now).

Still, I managed to write 10,000 words of the first book of the new series I started. It's turning out to be wildly fun to write this story, and I'm hoping to have the first draft done in a timely manner. Aaaand because you subscribe, I'll give you sneak peak that the first book will be called 'Dragonblooded'. I've determined the title for all six books in the series as well, but we'll save those for later.
