I Can't Seem to Slow Down

Hey there!
So just when I think I'm going to gather my life together and actually organize my writing, another project swoops in to take that all away.
One of my favorite things to do for afternoon chores is to just enjoy the outdoors and listen to some calming, rhythmic music. This is amazing for the imagination. It really gets me into the creative mood and I can often think deeply about my characters and who they are.
The problem is that I can't reign it in.
So that means I've started a new project. Don't worry, The Etcher's Plight is still going to be finished. I just need to take about a month off of the manuscript so I can come back fresh. In the meantime, I've started on Dragonblooded, the start of a YA six book series. Think 'Percy Jackson' meets the 'Lorien Legacies'. It's going to be epic.
Oh, and I'm still working on the co-written middle grade sci-fi series. We're about 16K words into the first book and it's already turning out incredible.
New Website
If you've had a chance to see my website in the past few years, you'll know that I'm not a designer. My colorblindness, along with my lack of spacial reasoning, made for a pretty terrible site. Well no more! I've refreshed my website for your viewing pleasure. While I plan to recapture the domain dankenner.com, the new site was launched with dankennerbooks.com. You can still buy signed books as usual, but take a look at the new pretty!
New Podcast Episodes
How can you sell your books if you don't even know who you want to sell to? This is a challenge that many authors are experiencing. Join Jennia and me as we discuss her best tactics for helping authors identify and market to their audience.
The Intros of all Intros
I figured it was probably best to put a little ditty for an intro on my channel. I've realized that Tiktok and Instagram probably aren't the place to put the homestead things, so those will go exclusively on YouTube. Keep an eye out for more videos about my authoring! I plan to post Wednesdays about my author business/book writing and on Saturdays about the homestead.
