A Spring Roller Coaster

Hi friend!
The past couple of weeks have been a roller coaster in all sorts of ways. Spring is like that, I think; after the quieter months of winter, as things are creeping back to life again, they seem turbulent and unsure. The cold isn't quite ready to let go of its reign, and the warmth and sunshine aren't feeling incredibly confident in their approach. This past week I've been caught in torrential downpours, had a glass of iced tea on a good friend's front porch, and wrapped up in a blanket with my teeth chattering from the cold. The weather isn't the only thing that's a wild ride right now.
Last weekend I escaped with a couple of my close friends on a prayer retreat in Bentonville, Arkansas. It was so good and restful, with multiple trips to ONYX Coffee and a visit to Crystal Bridges, but transitioning back to the "real" world was quite the opposite. It's easy to get into the busy swing of schedules and forget to stop and listen to our Creator. This weekend I'm hoping for a few more moments of quiet. Rest. Moments with Jesus, to let him hold and hug me close. Maybe you need some moments of that too?
On another note, a sweet person left a very kind and encouraging review this week. Reviews are so important to self-published authors, and I am especially thankful for this one:
Wow. All I can say is thank you! And let you know that because of this encouragement, my mind is starting to stir with the next project.
Stay tuned to my next newsletter for a promo of 60 Happily Ever After Christian Romances that I know you will love!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, friends! And happy reading!
Love,
Audrey
