Happy Friday!

I hope wherever you are, and whatever your day entails, you have moments of joy and a glimpse of the goodness of Jesus.

I've had a busy few weeks! From book launch to ministry events, from learning to build a balloon arch for a youth retreat to an encouraging visit with women who have walked with Jesus and served in ministry for decades. In between that, I've had moments sprinkled with gospel-filled conversation and the opportunity to share my story of how God has changed me and saved me with others. I'm filled with gratitude for His faithfulness even when I am weak and tired.

As promised a few newsletters back, we are getting another peek at Victoria, B.C. today. Look at the absolutely stunning parliament building!

It is over 120 years old, designed by an architect at the start of his career. The architect, Rattenbury, went on to design other regional landmarks, such as The Empress Hotel (mentioned in Pursuing Rebecca Bedford), before his scandal-laden death. Another place near the parliament building is Beacon Hill Park, an important location in Becoming Anne Whitlow, which we will take a look at soon!

As far as government buildings go, this one is incredible. I love the color of those domes, don't you?

I'll chat with you again soon! In the meantime, find time to enjoy a cup of something warm and a good book! Perhaps Becoming Anne Whitlow?

But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.

Isaiah 43:1 ESV
