Running a volunteer-based rescue takes a lot of heart. And that's something this community has a lot of.

We see it every day, with the emails we get of people wanting to donate blankets, young girls like Alayna who chose donations to our rescue instead of gifts for her birthday, and the 21 families who opened up their homes to an animal in need last weekend.

And people like you, who have shown up for us this year to support our work. Thank you.

As a member of our Hope Crew and monthly donor, you are helping us say yes to the many animals still waiting for their chance.

Dogs like Baby Girl, who had an injured leg, but her previous guardian didn't bring her to the vet. When we got her, her injury was infected, and unfortunately, her leg to be amputated.

That didn't stop us from doing everything we could to give her a chance.

This is what our Hope Crew helps us do, give hope to those with nowhere else to turn.
