This past week was outstanding. We are so grateful for this community.

Thanks to people like you, we reached our matching gift campaign goal, and the impacts are already being felt!

The funds raised led to a matching gift of over $3,300 in much-needed food, litter, and supplies to care for the 100+ animals currently in our care.

A huge thank you to our matching donor DMJ, for his outstanding generosity, and to everyone who helped make this happen by supporting this campaign.

But the week's happy stories don't stop there.

One of our matching donors stood out, a 7-year-old girl who chose donations for the animals over gifts for her birthday. We were blown away by her big heart.

It is girls like Alayna that give us hope for the future. When our children choose kindness and compassion, we know the future for animals will be bright.

But there's more.

The icing on the cake is Shaggy, whose cherry eye needed to be operated on before he could find a home. Well, he was adopted this weekend!

This is what this community is all about: caring for the animals who have nowhere else to turn. You are stepping up, you are changing the story into a much happier one.
