Summer is here, and so is the chaos.

Litters of kittens and puppies are being born left and right. Our inbox is overflowing with rehoming requests and transfer requests from shelters in high-kill situations. Every email represents an animal in need, a family in crisis, a life that needs saving.

We are doing everything we can to say "yes," but sometimes, it is hard to have hope.

Then we look at the 111 animals who were adopted last month, and that hope comes rushing back.
