Our rescue suffered a hard blow last Fall.

On October 6th, we lost one of our founders, Mitchell Lee Dennis, at only 46 years old. Mitchell helped start Arrows Heart Animal Rescue in 2012, and he had the biggest soft spot for the underdogs. Those tougher cases that took extra time, patience, and compassion to place? His favorites.

He saw the "good dog" in every one of them.

A father of four, he could always be found with a smile on his face. He was passionate about our work and wanted every animal to find a home.

In his memory, we want to make that happen for as many animals as possible.

We are so grateful that you donated to our medical fund recently. Your support allowed us to get many animals adopted during the holidays. Seeing our rescues with their new families, loved and cared for, is the best gift we could have asked for
