Our BreezeDoc team has been busy. Check out our latest updates:

Simplified Document Protection 🔐

We fixed a confusing issue where view-only documents were forcing recipients to create accounts, despite emails saying "No account is required to sign."

What changed:

• Recipients can now view documents being forced to create accounts
• Email messaging now accurately matches the actual user experience

The update is available now for all users. To create a view-only document, upload a document as you normally would and click the "Copy view link" in the header (instead of sending to signers).

GDPR-Compliant Data Processing Agreement 📋

We've added a comprehensive Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to BreezeDoc.

This helps European Union customers who want to use BreezeDoc to send documents and invoices to clients, prospects, and customers.

• Email reuse improvement - Users can now reuse email addresses after account deletion.
• Enhanced security messaging - Added "Secured by BreezeDoc with AES-256 encryption" footer across document signing screens, passcode pages, confirmation pages, and email notifications. Fully internationalized across all 7 supported languages.
• Gmail clipping fix - Replaced code in email footer to prevent Gmail from clipping transactional emails. Your document notifications and invoice emails now display reliably in Gmail.
• Enhanced internationalization - Localized all new confirmation page strings across 7 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Danish), including status timeline messages, account setup flow, and privacy/terms notices. The improved post-signature experience now works seamlessly for international recipients.
• Security enhancement - Confirmation pages for deleted documents now properly return 404 errors, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive document information after deletion and ensuring data privacy.
