Happy Spring!
Apr 08, 2024 11:30 am
Hello, my darlings!
And welcome to my new subscribers! I'm so happy to have you here. If you signed up at the Clifton Library event last month, it was wonderful to meet you in person, and I hope you enjoyed the event. I loved meeting so many readers and getting to talk about writing and romance novels with you.
I was going to talk about how happy I am that it's finally spring and how much I've been looking forward to spring weather and sunshine...but we just had an earthquake, so I'm mostly thinking about that! Earthquakes, especially those with a magnitude of 4.8, are not common in New Jersey. It was a bit of a shock, to say the least, but there wasn't any damage around here (except maybe to my nerves). A few things fell over, and some pictures on the wall were crooked, but that's about it. Did you experience Friday's earthquake?
I'm still working diligently on the next Dragons of Ivria book, now definitely titled To Know a Dragon Spy. Natasha Snow created an absolutely gorgeous cover for it last month, and it's killing me not to show it off to everyone but I have to keep it private a little while longer. I just adore it and want to stare at it all the time. I can't wait to see it on the book!
I have some upcoming events listed below. If you're in the area, I'd love to meet you! I should have copies of all of my books with me, and I'm happy to sign any you bring with you too. In case you missed it, I did a virtual author chat with Janette Pardo of the Wayne New Jersey Public Library on January 18th. If you'd like to watch the recording in which I ramble about my books and writing (and may or may not have made sense), it's available here.
