Monday Message
Good morning ANP,
Topic of the day is inspiration. What inspires us to get up and do the work it takes to succeed day in and day out? I think we all encounter difficult days that do not go our way. Is the inspiration to pay the bills, to buy a new home or put your kids through college? Maybe you want to build a business because you do not enjoy working for someone else. Whatever the reasons are, I believe it is good to know the why.
For me, my why is two-fold. I enjoy having random days that I do not have to work, and I like earning enough money to help myself and others important to me. I enjoy moving furniture because it helps me stay active, kind of like going to the gym and earning a living at the same time. I also enjoy doing a better job than other companies who provide the same services. That is what inspires me.
However, I must confess, it is not easy to do the grind day in and day out. Sometimes my employees do not get along with each other. Other times clients can have a bad attitude. Or perhaps I simply want to sleep in on a Wednesday morning. Yet somehow, I keep moving forward, that is just life i suppose.
