Barium compounds give the green colour to fireworks.

Supreme Court of India banned the use of Barium in fireworks in 2018. Yet many manufacturers continue to add Barium based chemicals in their fireworks.

The court reissued this verdict again this year.

The politics behind the verdict brought this issue to my attention. Not due to the politics, rather due to the specificity of the chemical mentioned.

Someone took the time to narrow down the cause of health hazards in fireworks.

Makes me wonder about our work as agency owners.

We too look at vague problems that clients mention, and solve it for them. Of course the solution itself is never given much thought. The results are all that matters to the client.

Can we use the root cause to educate the clients? Will it make the work of the agency easier?

Focus on the problem, talk about the root cause.

There is a way to do it, without giving away the secret sauce of your agency.

We must explore this method in future newsletters.
