Donations for our Custom Caregiver Collections tripled in November!

Every penny of your donation benefits caregivers. For those of you who don’t know, AlzAuthors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is managed by a small group of author-caregivers whose personal lives were impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia. 

Meet our founders:

Marianne Sciucco is a registered nurse who cared for hundreds of dementia patients over a 20-year career.

Jean Lee was a full-time elementary teacher when she experienced the heartbreak of her parents’ dual diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

Vicki Tapia, a former lactation consultant to new mothers, found her energies redirected to the other end of life after both her parents were diagnosed with dementia.

Each member of the management team of AlzAuthors is a volunteer and works diligently on behalf of others throughout the year. 

Our mission is to share Alzheimer’s and dementia stories to light the way for others. One way we do that is by placing our Custom Caregiver Collections, libraries filled with valuable caregiver resources, in care homes, senior centers, memory cafes, university settings and other locations.
