October Sound Session Resumes

Hello ,
Writing this from overseas, just 2 days before heading back to the Gold Coast, this trip has been a whirlwind of family gatherings, weddings, lots of food and... fascinating self-observations!
You know when you step into environments that shaped you years ago and suddenly get this crystal-clear view of how much you've changed?
That's been my reality for two weeks, and honestly, it's been quite the education.
This week happens to coincide with the Moon Festival here, which celebrates the brightest, fullest moon of the year.
The tradition goes back over 3,000 years, rooted in ancient moon worship and the legend of Chang'e, who flew to the moon and became the lunar goddess.
It's about gratitude for abundance, reunion, harmony, sharing round moon cakes that symbolise wholeness and family unity.
Between evenings filled with laughter, stories, and that particular warmth that comes from being surrounded by people who've known you your whole life catching up on years of changes, I noticed something interesting happening.
I found myself moderating my energy — not because anything was wrong, but because I was unconsciously translating myself back into a version that felt familiar to everyone else.
You know that subtle code-switching we do when we want to respect where we came from while holding space for who we've become?
Maybe you recognise this too.
You walk into certain spaces — whether it's family gatherings, old friend groups, places that hold your history — and there's this delicate dance between honouring your roots and maintaining the frequency you've cultivated through years of distant growth.
And when you've spent years fine-tuning your frequency, being around those differences requires a certain... energetic flexibility.
Dr. Michael Sughrue's research on the brain's seven networks shows us what happens during these transitions.
Our salience network — the brain's system that decides what deserves our attention — works overtime to navigate between who we were, who we are now, and who others remember us to be.
I'm glad to share, that this is what regular scalar-sound sessions actually prepare us for!
Every time we step into our sessions, we are actually strengthening our ability to maintain our authentic frequency while still connecting meaningfully with others.
The sound helps anchor us in our true self, so when life invites us into spaces that require adaptation, we can be flexible without losing our centre.
Travelling home under this week's full moon in Aries, right after the Moon Festival; I thought while Chang'e flew to the moon seeking immortality and found herself in eternal contemplation, this Aries energy will be encouraging us to have the insight and clarity to be more authentically ourselves.
If you're recognising your own dance in this; you're engaging in some of the most meaningful spiritual work there is.
It's about conscious choice and energetic mastery.
This Aries full moon is celebrating our evolution to be unique individuals and trusting enough in our own frequency to honour both our growth and our love.
