Question of the Week
Q: What are some of the best exercises to PREVENT injuries?
A: The most effective ways to prevent injury is by exercising your CORE and HIPS. As hockey players you use your core and hips all the time, when you are skating, hitting, shooting, etc, so it's vital to strengthen these. Prioritize rotational core movements such as Russian Twists and clam shells for your hips. That being said, you want to diversify the core & hip exercises you do to strengthen all the different muscles you utilize during your games.
