Question of the Week

My season is over; now what?

  • Stay physically active 🏋️: Continue to exercise regularly and maintain your conditioning throughout the off-season. Consider working with a personal trainer or strength and conditioning coach to develop a program tailored to your needs.

  • Work on your skills🎯: Identify areas of your game that need improvement, and focus on developing those skills. This could involve working on your skating, stickhandling, shooting, or other aspects of your game.

  • Participate in off-ice training 👟: Take advantage of any off-ice training opportunities that are available to you, such as clinics, camps, or skill development programs.

  • Play in summer leagues or showcases 🏒: Participating in summer leagues or tournaments can help you stay sharp and maintain your competitive edge during the off-season.

  • Rest & recovery🌴: Have some fun! It's important to give your body time to recover from the rigors of the hockey season. Make sure to get plenty of rest and allow any injuries to fully heal before returning to training.
