Q: What are your top 3 tips for hockey players?

A: Here they are:

1. Consistency: Show up and give your best every single day. Small consistent progress makes a big difference over time.
2. Practice + Feedback: You must put in the work and practice to improve, everyone knows that. That being said, the second part is often overlooked. The only way you can learn from practicing is by receiving feedback. You can do this by yourself, but having someone else like a coach guiding you yields much better results.
3. Educate yourself: The hockey world is complicated, so don't go into it blind. Learn as much about it as you can as soon as possible because this will pay dividends for you in the future. Talk to coaches, advisors, and other experts about it, and also check out educational content online (ex: our YouTube videos).
