Q: Will hockey start back up this upcoming season?

A: Short answer: most likely. In the US, it's almost certain that the hockey season will carry forward normally. In Canada, it's a little more up in the air, but the hockey community is quite optimistic about hockey starting back up on time in late August. If everything goes according to plan, Canadians should be back on the ice with only a few minor restrictions to worry about.

Q: Should I continue playing hockey despite all the uncertainty?

A: If your dream is to play NCAA Hockey (or any other higher level of hockey), then chase that dream with everything you've got. The pandemic is but another obstacle that's testing to see if you want it bad enough. Don't let it break you, because giving up on your dream now will fill you with regret in the future. Find some inner strength and keep pushing, and things will open up for you soon enough. Don't give up now. You just need to keep going through this unprecedented challenge a bit longer. If you do, I promise you, your resilience will pay off.
