The New Start

Can you believe it's August already?
This is the first month for the new newsletter schedule, which will be only one mailout (on the first Saturday of each month) instead of two. And I'm offering a more detailed explanation of why.
Due to an issue with SendFox, (I believe it was an abnormal mail bounce rate on one mailouts that triggered it), the newsletter has been "optimized". This means my newsletter is on restriction and they will only send it out to subscribers they deem "active". Their definition of "active" are subscribers that regularly open the newsletter and don't miss participating for 90 days in a row. I don't know when or if I can get off their optimization, but I am looking into workarounds to at least let "inactive" subscribers know what's happening.
So, because of all that, I'm streamlining and simplify the newsletter.

Writer Updates
I've been working on editing Heyward and Andersen #4, Rivalry and Steam Monsters and it is coming along. I hope to have it ready by the end of the month and looking towards an October publishing date.
And in the meantime, if you missed it, The Headless Corpse, Heyward and Andersen #3, is now out!
The dead are rising and walking away from mortuaries…before returning without their heads.
Tasked with investigating, dogged detectives Elspeth Heyward and Lars Andersen must uncover the sinister culprit reanimating the newly deceased and locate the still missing bodies.
Tracking suspects throughout the city, they encounter trouble and shenanigans with each clue, until the trail brings them worryingly close to their own doorstep.
To solve the mystery and protect the city, Heyward and Anderson must go toe to toe against a rogue sorcerer with the final confrontation promising an explosive showdown…
