Welcome to September!

Today I have Fairy Tales and Nightmares news, new paperbacks, and gearing up for the spooky season.

----------------------------------------------

Fairy Tales and Nightmares is at the editor and by the time this goes out I may be hard at work doing the last polishes. So I'm setting a tentative date of the first week in October for publishing, with hopefully a short preorder set up in September. I'm trying to get this ready for a real-life book fair in late October, so this is why the publishing will be quick once it's ready.

I also finished updating the paperbacks for my Saga of the Outer Islands fantasy trilogy with new covers and formatting. If you want to take a look you can check out the series here: Saga of the Outer Islands

And in other paperback news...

The print version of my poetry book Roses and Ashes is finally published (yes, I stopped procrastinating on that one). You can check that one out here: Roses and Ashes paperback

The Countdown to the October Frights Blog Hop has Begun!

For the week of October 10-15, horror and paranormal authors get together to post stories, poems, excerpts, book spotlights, and general ramblings about spooky stuff on their blogs and websites to celebrate Halloween. We also have a mini book fair and a giveaway. I hope you'll join the fun.

If you'd like to know more or follow the progress or even participate as an author, check out out Facebook group.

Dark Tide 10: The Dead Shall Rise

imagePrepare Because Death is Coming by Jay Wilburn: "Take this and bear the warning." When a messenger arrives at Dry Stretch, warning that a horde of zombies is heading their way forty years after the fall, Bay scoffs at the news. But a 'full body' meeting is called. Ethic is sent north to scout, but in Dry Stretch, no one is preparing. No one is repairing the walls. A William Faulkneresque story of the dead set in a dystopic dust-bowl town.

Zombie Diner by Armand Rosamilia: A family finds themselves on the wrong side of the zombie apocalypse while on vacation in Florida…

Dance with the Dead by Erin Louis: Tiffney is expecting just another night at the strip club. But when a customer goes berserk in the VIP room, things take an unexpectedly bloody turn. Stuck with a cocaine raddled manager and a shady club owner. Tiffney faces the unimaginable and is forced to turn her coworkers into allies to fight the evil that has taken over the club. Together they have to fight to stay alive.
