What if the legends of the Norse gods were lies? What if Loki was the hero of the story…

Once, Loki was an honourable god. Slandered and betrayed, he lost family, friends, and his reputation. He rebuilt his life from ruins and now lives the life of a shopkeeper in 19th-century London. Until one fateful Yuletide season, when he is visited by three odd ghosts…

No, not those ghosts. Elven ghosts.

Come read five tales of the gods as Loki’s life is turned upside down by these unwelcome visitors. He embarks on a quest to save the Yule tree, a crazy rescue mission to Helheim involving an evil chicken, and the epic showdown of Ragnarok. Along the way, he finds new allies, old enemies, and his tragic family secrets are revealed, all weaving into his ultimate fate and a looming armageddon. Can Loki be the god he once was, or is the world doomed?

Tales of the Norse Gods: Loki Saves the World is a wild ride through myth, humour, and tragedy. Don’t miss out on this unpredictable set of stories!

Oh, there’s also a tiny dragon!

Short Excerpt:

Prologue, 1876

Disembarking from the packed train at my London station, I blended into the throng of banal travellers, a sea of disinterested faces and pinched expressions. The place assaulted my senses as I pushed my way through the crowds: shouts, hurrying footsteps, the hiss and screech of trains, the smell of sweat mixed with perfume, the acrid tang of smoke and grease. I exited into a gloomy grey sea of umbrellas and overcoats rushing along the street under low dark clouds and a drizzle of rain.

Opening my umbrella and surveying my surroundings, the street was no less oppressive than the station, the stifling air enhanced by an overlay of grime. Clacking carriages, indifferent crowds, filth, disgusting scents, and an atmosphere of industrial rot filled my view. London had changed since my last visit.
