Welcome back, !
Spooky season is officially over and now we move on to the time of giving thanks. During this month, I don't like to celebrate history, but instead I celebrate what I'm thankful for right here, right now. Being present in your life and holding gratitude for everything you have is a key ingredient in the recipe for a peaceful life. A lot of times it's easy for me to forget how lucky I am every day for all the wonderful people and things I have in my life. So, for me, November isn't as much about Pilgrims as it is about truly being thankful for this life. So, this month I will be sharing something I'm thankful for each week and feel free to share with me!!
What are you most thankful for?
I'll go first. I'm MOST thankful for my family. Seriously, there's little in this world that means as much as family and good friends. But even more than that, family and friends that you could trust with your life. One person who you can trust completely is worth more than anything money can buy. So, I am thankful for my family, particularly my kiddo and my beautiful girlfriend and her 3 kiddos. They are the best parts of my day, and they make the other good parts even better. Thank you, guys!
Anyway, thank you for bearing with me. Let's get to the Fantasy!

A cursed city shrouded in mist. The power to level an army. A deadly race against demons to find it.
Five hundred years have passed since Naradon, the mad emperor, ruled over the world of Arinthar. Unknown to all but a few, the emperor left behind a deadly legacy—seven towers scattered across the globe, each with the power to lay waste to an army.
Now demons have crawled up from the Abyss and taken one of those towers, using its power to summon more of their brethren. To make matters worse, a second tower has been uncovered and the demons want that one, too.
Yet that tower will not be taken easily. Shrouded in mist, the ancient city surrounding that tower has fallen under a terrible curse. All who once lived there walk the earth as undead, including the mad emperor’s wife.
Now a small band of heroes must enter the mists and wrest the tower from the empress of the damned and her undead army. For if they fail, the entire world is doomed to become hell on earth.
Enter a world of magic and adventure in this exciting tale of heroes in the making. Perfect for fans of Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons.

A horrifying new folk horror novella from Newton Webb.

A Red, Red Rose
Free with Kindle Unlimited
It is often in the dark that we can see...
And sometimes, you must look at what isn't said, as much as what is, to see it.
R.B. O'Brien's latest collection of dark poetry and prose isn't your Robert Burns song about "luve." No. It's not that kind of a red, red rose. It's the kind that makes you think of a darker shade of red, perhaps the color of blood coursing just below the surface of your skin or through your veins, struggling to pump that blood to your heart. A rose littered with thorns to prick and cut into your darker psyche. The kind of rose to escape the pretty gardens and butterflies and yellow suns filling a canvas with only light. No. This red, red rose is the stuff only twisted fairy tales are made of.
As nuanced and textured as you may be used to from O'Brien, you've never seen her quite like this before. From bright-lit graves to black crosses on white churches, from mortal skulls to immortal ghosts, from sweet revenge to soured greed, and from love worth dying for (literally) to death most lively, turn off the lights and read only by candlelight. Who knows what you may see...
You might just see yourself.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
This is an amazing song for a few reasons. The whole song is full of nods to the 80's. there are several spots in the song that are directly influenced by 80's music as well as the band wearing the iconic red leather jackets in the video. I'm going to use this song for an upcoming project so you may see it again on my playlists.
Motionless in White - Werewolf
This is also going to be featured in that same project I'll be working on soon. This is the type of anthemic song I like to use to channel a sort of deep loss or a happy ending with a lot of pain along the way. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!!
Motionless in White - Masterpiece
