Welcome back, !
It's that time of year again when I gain another level! But the best gift I can get is having people like you in my community! So, I want to go big AGAIN this week and give you more reading than you could handle at any one time. 😂 But hey take as much as you want and just slap it in your TBR pile!
What was the best birthday present you've ever gotten??
My best gift ever was one year, my girlfriend got me a Keychain with her favorite line from Wuthering Heights in and audio inscription. If you were to scan it and play it back, this is what it would say - “He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” It was absolutely the best Birthday gift I've ever gotten. I'm so grateful for her and I'm also so grateful for you! So, let's hop in!

Daughter of Winter
A turbulent birthright. A powerful adversary. A dark, sexy protector.Intrigue and danger enter Brydie MacKay's life when Gage, a dark and brooding stranger, walks into her carefully controlled world.
He brings news that her grandmother has died, and as her last living relative, Brydie has inherited her estate and must travel to Scotland to accept her legacy and all it entails.
Brydie doesn't want the inheritance, not after the way she was treated. And when a series of actions unfold that illustrate this 'legacy' is more than just a physical entity, she tries to run.
But Gage won't take no for an answer. He will do whatever it takes to ensure Brydie returns to Scotland with him—even if that means taking her against her will.
Daughter of Winter is the first book in a gripping, enemies-to-lovers, dark fantasy romance series that is loosely based on the legends behind the Celtic winter goddess, Cailleach Bheur. The series is written in two storylines (present day and pagan Scotland) and told from multiple points of view. You'll be drawn into a world of Celtic mythology, powerful Druids, dark magic, and fated mates.
Disclaimer: adult content 18+
Trigger warnings: This is a DARK fantasy romance, so expect a morally gray hero. The series contains elements of bully romance, slow-burn to steamy sexual content, gore and violence, and unsavoury dialogue.
Pierce me
“Persuasion with pop idols. It doesn’t get much hotter than this.”I hate you. You ruined my life.
The pop idol. Eliot Pan.Everyone knows my name. Everyone knows my story, how I started from nothing and shot to stardom within the past year. I sell our stadiums within hours after announcing a new tour. I have everything, or so people think. What they don’t know is that everything is fake. My music, my success, my smiles. Even my name. I had to change it four years ago, when a girl broke my heart and ruined my life.
I am starting a new tour in a few months, and I need at least five new songs. Problem is? I can’t write a single note. I am blocked.
The poetess. I met her when we were both sad teens, each lost in our own tragedies. But with her, I came alive. We forged a bond that I thought would last a lifetime. I used to look at her and think that I could never stop. Then, one day, she told me she never wanted to see me again. And now, four years later? My team of assistants (ex-assistants, I should say, as they will all be fired soon) have hired an English lit student to help me out of my creative block. She is good, they say, she has won awards for her poetry. A genius of her generation.
But when I see her? It’s her. The girl who destroyed me.
The girl who stopped loving me on a whim and disappeared, taking my dreams with her.
It’s four years later, and it’s four years too soon to be seeing her again.
She pierced my heart.
She ruined my life.
I hate her.
But when I look at her, she’s not the girl I hate: She is the girl who used to be my reason for existing.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
This is a new one from Fame on Fire. It features Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills. This song has a little bit of everything. It's fun, hooky, heavy and catchy as hell. I love listening to this when I'm writing battle scenes!!
