How do you like to read?
We've all got our quirks and rituals. For example, I love to curl up and read while laying down with a drink close by.
What do you do to put you in the reading zone??

She Awakens
Review Copy
Attina finds herself in an unlikely predicament when it's uncovered the normal, human existence she thought she lived is turned upside down. Finding out she’s half Fae not only confounds her, but in a time where the brutal Fae run the world she is suddenly tasked with bringing the Fae and humans together.
With the help of her trusty, and somewhat snarky steed Raven, Attina sets out on a mission to save the human race from extinction. As she continues on her mission, she discovers powers beyond her wildest dreams.
In a world where it’s tricky to discern who’s good and where the evil really lies, Attina finds herself in one predicament after another, not knowing who to trust except for Raven. As her journey unfolds, her strength and will are tested.
Will she ever be strong enough to bridge the gap between these two worlds?
The Dead May Dance

Unnatural things are afoot in Lapachka village. A monster lurks the streets, killing at random.
Father Gavriil is spooked. The villagers are terrified.

A friend who will not go quietly.
Vampire's Fated Mate
I never thought my sworn enemy would become my insatiable desire
I am a vampire hunter, never to feel anything but hatred towards them.
Then Derek revealed his hidden humanity.
And before I knew it, my lips pressed against his.
A kiss charged with so much passion, it left me trembling.
We never should have touched, which I can’t bring myself to regret after he saved be from danger
The sensation of his breath on my skin sent shivers down my spine
And the way his hands trailed down my back left me wanting more.
I'm torn between my duty and my heart, unsure of what the future holds for us.
I should end this now, put an end to his existence and protect humanity from his kind.
But every fiber of my being is telling me to do something else entirely.

Independent Danika Chekov refuses to let her father's legacy die. Being the only female Vampire Lord in America isn't easy. Being thrust into the role of CEO of the world's largest synthetic blood company is even harder. But after she's almost murdered, she's forced to purchase a guardian from the slave markets - Mason.
Mason is human, or so the Vampires think. Determined to protect his secret at all costs, his plans of escape are thwarted when the beautiful and strong-willed Danika buys him to protect her from an unknown enemy.
Their desires threaten everything they both want most. But their passion sparks a love that could change them both forever.

Music Fueled by Fantasy
I've had a mixed opinion on Whitechapel over the years. I really didn't like them when they first emerged in the wake of the Deathcore surge. But I wasn't really open to that type of sound at the time, I thought it was too messy and didn't have the beautiful harmonies I love hearing in metal music. I'm opening up to the more extreme end of the metal spectrum and as I started to expand in to the heavier, more hard hitting territory of rock, Whitechapel started to mature and add more layers to their sound and we kind of met in the middle. Phil, their singer even started adding clean vocals and from then on, I've been hooked.

This Week's Food Fantasy
Pokemon Card Cake
No recipe here this week. Nope, just an awesome idea for anyone who loves Pokemon. Granted this would take a lot of artistic skill, but it's incredible. If I got this when I was a kid, I would have lost it!
If I tried to make this, it would look like one of those "Nailed it" pictures where you most certainly did not nail it. 😂
If you do make this though, PLEASE, send me the result!
